Getting started
FamilyMeals helps your household plan dinners together. Save the meals you actually eat with their ingredients, vote on what to have this week, build a rolling 7-day plan, assign who's cooking, and shop from a list that's built automatically from the plan. Everyone in the household can take part across their own devices.
Common questions
- Who is it for? Any household that shares meals — families, couples, flatmates or roommates.
- How does voting work? Anyone can start a vote; each member ranks their top three, and results update live across devices.
- Where does the shopping list come from? It's built from the ingredients of the meals on your plan. You can add manual items too.
- How do I delete my data? See Delete your account below.
Delete your account and data
The household owner can delete the account and all associated data at any time from inside the app. Deletion is permanent and removes all members, meals, ingredients, the meal plan, votes, shopping-list items and roulette data from our servers.
Steps:
- Open FamilyMeals on your device.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Scroll down to the Account section.
- Tap Delete Account and all data.
- Follow the confirmation prompts. The account and all data will be permanently deleted.
The Family Plan upgrade is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — there is nothing to cancel. If you reinstall or change devices, use Settings → Restore purchases.
If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] and we will delete your account manually.
Report a problem
If something isn't working — a bug, a sync issue, or a plan that looks wrong — please email us with a short description and, if you can, a screenshot. We read every message.
